The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Beverley Lowe can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Uncle Jim

I spent a few weeks in the summer 1980 with Uncle Jim and cousin Pam in Rocky HIll, CT. Pam and I spent as much time at Old Saybrook Beach. Uncle Jim traveled a lot.  He finally came home and he wanted to treat us to dinner and movie.  No arguements here- he picked the restaurant and let me decide the movie. We finished dinner and deciding what movie.  Not aware of where he worked at the time, I suggested NO NUKES- a documentary movie with the latest and greatest musicians to protest nuclear energy.  Uncle Jim was working for United Nuclear. Needless to say, I got elbowed hard by Pam and just a look from Uncle Jim.  I was then told to pay for my own dinner:-)  Oops.  I'm grateful he didn't make me walk home.

He was a very generous, understanding, caring and loving uncle.  You always had my back Uncle Jim and I will be forever grateful.  He will be missed deeply.
