The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of David Beck can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Bill Peithmann
Condolence: A remarkable man in countless ways. It was my pleasure to have known him in our salad days, the early '80s at ComputerLand, where he demonstrated every facet of the consummate professional, devoted father and family man, and peerless friend. Those who had the privilege of knowing him later in life -- as I did not, our having lost our ways -- were privileged to know someone who always understood the human and healing side of the law. To work with Dave Beck was to learn how a good man looks at the law, and how a wise man looks at life. The world is going to seem a lot smaller without him.
Deepest affection to Carolyn and his tribe.
The Pipeman.

Condolence: As wonderful as a judge as he was, he was an even better man. Words can't express how much he will be missed. He did so much for veterans and for his community. He had the biggest heart and was a straight shooter with true grit.
Will always miss him.

Condolence: I had very little interaction with Judge David Beck, but he was a good man and an excellent jurist. As such, I offer my prayers to Judge Beck's family and friends. I have covered cops & courts in greater Daytona since the mid-1990s - first with the Daytona Beach News-Journal for close to a decade and for 9 1/2 years as an inernet publisher of Headline Surfer®. I wrote a story on Judge Beck early Tuesday.

Condolence: Dear Carolyn and family. We are so sorry to learn of my cousin, David's death. David's father and my father (Uncle George and Aunt Ruth) were brothers. I will always regard David as a beloved cousin and my comrade in service to our country. "Father, in thy gracious keeping, leave we now thy servant sleeping." Love, Larry and Janie

Condolence: We'll be forever thankful that we had the opportunity to know Dave as our friend. Whenever we spoke of him the descriptive was 'he's one of those people who is a genuinely good human being'. We were so shocked to hear of his diagnosis. Our hearts are hurting for all of you. God bless you Carolyn and your beautiful family. I pray for comfort and strength for all of you and Godspeed to Dave.
