Dave Beck- The Ideal Rolemodel
Many years ago I met Dave through work and had plenty of meetings & mediations with him to realize he truly cared for all people, especially children. Over the years I also had the blessing of being a friend of his & his awesome wife Carolyn. There's two men who inspired me to return to college to better my future for myself & my kids, and also to never give up on what I wanted: Dave & his best friend Bob S. Dave touched my life in so many positive ways. He set the bar for going after what you truly want so you can live your passion, having a career you love while never sacrificing family, community betterment & fun times. I'll also never settle in a relationship unless I feel it's one as truly loving as what he & Carolyn have. You'd never know if he had stress because his sense of humor was ever-present. When I asked him how his first week on the bench was treating him, he didn't express nervousness; instead he said it's great, but he didn't expect to be the only one wearing a dress lol. Sometimes life doesn't seem fair & especially when such a vital, giving man is taken so soon. But I expect he fulfilled his mission here & will soon embark on his next round of touching more lives that need his caring, loving spirit & inspiration. I love you Dave & Carolyn!
