Condolences

Condolence From: Bob Ashley
Condolence: To Stephanie & Family –
I sadly learned of Jim’s passing from Military Officer magazine today. Jim and I go way back to junior officer tours in Newport, RI and our careers crossed paths several times thereafter, including service as Captains in contract management and post-Navy at DSIC. With regret and deep respect I ring four bells for “Captain, Supply Corps, U. S. Navy (Retired), Departing.”

I worked under then Lt. Weekes at the Naval Supply Depot in Newport, R. I.in the late 1960s/ early 1970s. He was the Procurement Officer, and I a purchasing Agent. Liked him much. God Bless you all.

Condolence: To Steph and James' Family:

It was such a treasure meeting up with and being able to enjoy some really fun times with Jim and Stephanie long after our high school days.

He loved his family dearly and absolutely adored his grandchildren. We heard many stories of their special times spent with the two little ones, not just the exciting times, but even when there was illness.

While we are saddened, we realize that Jim is now blessed to be out of these past frustrating years. God is now taking good care of him. We pray that Stephanie, what an angel you were during those years, will find some comfort in knowing you and Jim are still in the thoughts and prayers of our many classmates and other friends.

Our love and prayers to you all.

Wayne and Sandy
