Obituary for
Eleanor "Cherry" Kelly
Eleanor “Cherry” Kelly passed away peacefully on October 1st, 2016 at the young age of 92. Eleanor was born in Pottstown Pennsylvania. The family moved to North Wildwood New Jersey in 1978. They then relocated to Port Orange Florida in 1981.
Cherry is predeceased by her husband Charles Kelly and her daughter Susanne Suzenski.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Dorothy Kelly of San Francisco, CA, Kathleen Huff (Joseph) of Gilbertsville, PA, Joan O’Connor (Daniel) of Port Orange, FL and 1 son, Charles Kelly of Melbourne, FL. She also had 10 grandchildren that she loved dearly and 4 great grandchildren.
Cherry was a seamstress by trade and also loved to knit. She made many prayer shawls for Epiphany Catholic Church and hats for chemo patients at Halifax Regional Oncology Center. For many years she led the Golden Oldies lunch group for Maplewood Estates. Cherry also loved to play cards and bingo and hang out at the pool.
Cherry was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday October 5, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Epiphany Catholic Church, 201 Lafayette Street Port Orange. The family will receive friends and guests from 9:00 AM till the time of the Mass at the Church. Burial will take place in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
