Obituary for Dolores L. Anderson

Dolores L. Anderson
Dolores L. Anderson

My mom, Dolores L. Anderson went to be with her Lord in the loving arms of her daughter Donna on September 17, 2016. Born to Loa and Alton Keen April 21, 1923 in Sharon PA. She attended high school at East Fallowfield PA and graduated in 1941. She met the love of her life, Walter “Andy” Anderson. She always referred to dad as “my only one”. Married December 27, 1941, together they moved to Ormond Beach, FL and built their home in 1955. Dad owned a trucking company and mom was his right hand, as well his bookkeeper. Many friends will remember mom’s homemade macaroni and cheese, fried green tomatoes, and bottomless pitchers of fresh brewed ice tea while shooting pool in the living room. Survived by her two children, Richard Anderson and Donna Anderson Beemer. Family members include Carole Anderson, Randy Anderson, Trista Anderson, Kelly Anderson, also Sunny and Ricky Gunter, great-grandchildren are Ryan Anderson and L.J. Brackett. Known as “Grammie” to Jade Sunshine Gunter and Aaron Anderson Gunter. Deeply missed by all, especially Donna who she lived with and was her caregiver for the past decade. My best friend, mother and grandmother to her loving family. May Jesus and the Angels be by your side and rest in peace in the loving arms of dad. “I love you more than the world”. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in her name tom to The Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011. Sincere gratitude to Florida Memorial Hospital Hospice Care, including Susan, Doris and Keyaira.
